WHAT TO REMEMBER

THE LOVE OF GOD

John is convinced that loving God and loving others cannot be divorced.

Why is love, God’s kind of love, so powerful?

and 2) His love will reach its intended goal which is that I will love others

between someone in love with an Osama Bin Laden and someone in love with the Lord

Power for us to love others, even when they are not lovely.

REPENT

To repent simply means to have a turn, or change, in our mind. Before we’re saved, we live apart from God, and our thoughts are against Him.

“If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

To be saved, you must openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.

You confess Jesus was not an ordinary man but the Son of God who was incarnated as a man; lived a perfect, sinless life; and died on the cross for your sins.

“Lord Jesus, I repent and turn to You right now.

FEAR AND ANXIETY

The fear and anxiety caused by the COVID-19 pandemic can be overwhelming. Worries about our health, the economy, the well-being of the people we’re close to—as well as those all over the world—threaten to engulf us.

At the same time, many things we’ve relied on to comfort or entertain us are rapidly disappearing, and it seems impossible to find lasting peace.

John chapter 6 recounts the story of Jesus’ disciples rowing across a churning sea.

But in the midst of the wind and waves, Jesus came to them and said, “It is I. Do not be afraid.” Then they invited Him into their boat, and immediately they arrived at the land they were rowing toward.

We can also invite Jesus into our “boat.” Even in the midst of this distressing pandemic, we can experience Him as our lasting peace and true rest. He wants to be with us on our life’s journey and calm all the troubles and fears in our human life.

LOVE OF GOD

So why did Jesus, a truly extraordinary person, have to die such a horrible death on the cross?

Furthermore, the Bible tells us that “The wages of sin is death.” Death is the ultimate consequence of sin—not only physical death, but eternal perdition in the lake of fire.

The precious blood of Jesus

COMMON SALVATION

Christain youths should not seek great positions or titles for themselves (Jeremiah 45:5). They should neither act too familiar with the Lord nor His ministers to the point that they take for granted God's ministers or underestimate divine assignment. Jude was a diligent minister . He had written to a group of people on the necessity of obtaining the " COMMON SALVATION" in Christ Jesus. He now writes to them on the necessity to keep that salvation by contending for the faith. He highlighted the reason for this admonition thus: " Beloved, when I give all diligence to write unto you, and exhort you that yesterday should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 3).

GOD IS YOUR LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER

God is your father in heaven. He knows you personally and loves you more than you can comprehend. He wants you to be happy in this life and in eternity.

To accomplish this purpose. He provided a plan called the "gospel" of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the son of God; His life and teachings are the guide to peace in this life and Joy in eternity. The gospel of Jesus Christ blesses all who accept it and live it. One of the best places to teach and apply the gospel is in the families. God has established families to bring happiness to His children, to allow us to learn correct principal in a loving atmosphere, and to prepare us to return to Him after we die. Although family relationships can be challenging at times, our Heavenly father blesses us as we strive to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. These teachings help us strengthen our families.

HOW CAN I KNOW?

You can know this message is true. If you ask your heavenly father in prayer, you can receive an answer from Him through the Holy spirit. The Holy spirit is also called the the spirit of God, and one of His role is to witness, or testify of the truth.

This knowledge can be miraculous and life changing, but it usually comes as a quiet assurance, without spectacular display of God's power. The Holy Ghost confirms the truth through feeling, thought, and impressions.

As taught in the Bible. "The fruit of the spirit is love, Joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, (and) temperance" (Galatians 5:22-23). This feelings from the Holy spirit are personal revelation to you that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. You will then need to choose whether you will live in harmony with the knowledge you have received.
